Snowdrops - and more - To Herald Spring

It is a cold suuny day here in Hawick in the Scottish Borders - 4C (41F), but this picture taken in my garden heralds warmer days. 

Below - the heron, a regular visitor and mallard ducks on the Slitrig River, Hawick - taken a few weeks ago.

  2. How lovely to have the birds and those wonderful snowdrops. Mind you I wouldn't want to be a bird (heron or duck) with my feet in that chilly snow/water!
