My uncle was a staff artist for a Wisconsin insurance company. I've dabbled in some print work on a part time basis...mainly making posters and self-publishing a couple of booklets. Now a retired and not-too-affluent potter artist, I'm grateful to have security of benefits that come with age, such as they are.Barbara Rogershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08351113054045427775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-427560122717203300.post-52678337879258622232016-10-16T16:01:31.184+01:002016-10-16T16:01:31.184+01:00Thank you all for your sympathetic comments. It’s always sad to read of an artist who died in poverty though.Little Nellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11862657943846727987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-427560122717203300.post-46514328613677569912016-10-15T02:22:06.884+01:002016-10-15T02:22:06.884+01:00Wonderful cards from a bygone era. Such a shame the artist's creativity was cut short. I wonder if the fire was purposely set by folks who didn't appreciate his particular style of humor?La Nightingailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04769079547153094005noreply@blogger.com
